  • Beolab 4000 not coming out of standby

Hi! I've got a pair of BL4000 which was working fine and recently one of them just didn't wake up from standby. When i turned on the BS9000, one of them was working but the other just stayed in standby. I tried daisy chain the powerlink to the nonworking one first ,then to the good one. Still the nonworking one is on standby but the good one

Thanks for prompt reply I'm in Thailand. I just felt that it is a slight problem that can be easily fixed. I succesfully replaced the CD mech on Ouverture. and i think this could be another venture. But if all of you say it's too difficult for DIY. I will take it to the dealer. Thank you for the comments.

  • Re: Some help or advice please

Hi! Mine got the same problem. I removed the glass panel and cleaned the sticky goo with sonax(universal lubricant similar to WD40 but not confirmed) and stick the glass back to the plastic frame using transparent resin base epoxy (resin+hardener). This way,it will never fall again. I successfully did this on my Beomaster 3500,Beomaster 4500 ,Beocenter

  • Re: Age of ouverture and also door closure adjustment

HI! My Ouverture also have a bigger than normal gap between doors. I've been wanting to fix that but i'm just afraid i would make it worse. I would really appriciate if you can show me how to do it and i'm sure there are lots of people with the same problems. Regards Volan

  • Re: beocenter 8500 cd not reading.

Thank you for all replies. After taking it to service center, the engineer turned it on and it just worked!! I was trying to play CD on it for days and when in front of engineer it just started working and it has been playing normally since then. Maybe it's scared to be gutted or maybe it was shaken up into place during the trip to the service center

  • Re: beocom 2 not ringing

Hi again Keith! I tried to connect as you said. As there are 4 wires ,2 for power and two for phone line. If i connect 2 phone lines to pin 2&5(originally they were connected to pin 1&2) , where is the other wire to go to pin 3 in the master socket? I'm a bit dumb about this. Please clarify if possible. Thank you.
