  • Re: iMac - iTunes - SD Card - BS3

Hi there, don´t know if this of any help, but:1. Imho it depends on the format of the SD card. I assume the card for the BS3 is currently pc formatted (FAT32?). You could try formating the card for mac (HFS/HFS+), but probably BS3 will then not be able to read it. So I don´t know a real solution, other than trashing the unwanted folders by

  • Re: The Serenata has launched!

Ah, I think I´m wrong. Under phone_functions_experience (if I´m translating correctly) it´s said that writing sms and dialing numbers works via the touch-sensitive display. That´s nice...Thanks!Regards, beoberlin

  • Re: The Serenata has launched!

Henry: Reason being the touch-wheel for SMS messaging would seem to be an utter pain in the backside from what I can assume. I´m afraid you´re right. Hearing "touchscreen" I thought at first there has to be some kind of iPhone-like keyboard. But way wrong. On the site there is demo af writing a sms via the scroll wheel, this is

  • Re: Beoport connected to the pc and mac

Parallels and Apple´s Bootcamp both need an Intel cpu, only emulating Windows via VirtualPC works on PPC (verrry slow). I would also try connecting the BeoPort to an IntelMac and try running the BeoApps on Windows via Bootcamp or Parallels. Though I´m not sure, if it will work. Probably give Beocare a call before...he...heRegards, beoberlin

  • Re: The Serenata has launched!

Hm, for a moment i was really temted to trash my current mobile and cancel the order for the iPod touch. I really like the design and the concept of the serenata. But: a so-called music player with 4gb only? The are kidding, aren´t they? Way too small... Any info on sd-cards, can´t find it...The website is nice to look at for the first time

  • Re: Possibl to buy the iPhone from apple.com without being forced an AT&T subscription?

Buying an iPhone is possible without signing up a contract with AT&T, as the actual process of buying the hardware at apple.com has (still?) nothing to do with the activation, which is done online via iTunes. Only while doing this activation you have to send your (american) social security id to Apple/AT&T and decide for one of the contracts

  • Re: Steffen Schmelling in B&O design...

I wouldn´t judge his work just by the one product he did for b&o until today. To me it looks as he didn´t have another chance than simply folding a piece of steel around the already existing samsung player to give it a more noble look. Bs6 is a piece of cheap korean electronics in a posh box and it shows. Imho it´s not his fault

  • Re: iPhone

Rumours are that T-Mobile scheduled a press event for tomorrow in Berlin to announce iPhone at least here in Germany, probably also being the provider in Austria, the Netherlands, Croatia and Hungary. Mr. Jobs is said to be also in Berlin. So let´s wait and see...Regards, beoberlin

  • Re: Power Supply Broken

jk1002: I would think it might just be the power supply / brick, which you could order at reasonable cost from the apple store or amazon (I got mine there recently after the cable ripped into pieces). If you can, maybe just order a new brick, try it out, return if it doesnt work. Or stop by your local apple store if you have one. Maybe you have a voltmeter
