Hi there, it´s been a while since I wrote something. I´ve got a little question. I got a brandnew Beotalk 1200 as a present, because I was in desperate need of a "decent" answering machine. Unfortunately for me it´s the danish version, so I would like to know, if it´s possible to simply change the alu front door myself

Leica says, also technically the same they´re having a different (better?) picture processing algorythm. Though I don´t know if this is true, i still would always buy the Leica and not the Pana. Call me a snob, but i think the far better, sleeker, cooler design is worth every cent. The Leica will still stand out when the Pana is long gone

I can imagine a white bv8 32" with silver speaker cover on a silver floor stand looking quite cool. But i´m too afraid of the white soft touch surface getting greyish or stains over time. It´s probably also quite difficult dusting the "rough" surface off. Only time will tell...Regards, beoberlin

Hiort: I´m told there is a silver colored table stand available for the Beovison 8 White. I´ve heard this too...Regards, beoberlin

As far as i know, the only ones left were available through the already mentioned Artix Tech. of Cyprus. They bought the complete stock of the former producer. But the special B&O version is sold out there too. They are no longer in production, a year ago the german distributor also had no ones left. So I´m afraid you´re out of look

You´re right:http://www.kodawarisan.com/k2007_02/archives/2007/08/imac_aaaaaaaaaa.htmlLooks like somebody was thinking ahead in California, very nice. BTW look at the url...Regards, beoberlin

I wouldn´t say Apple copied B&O. The idea of hiding the display behind a glass screen is neither new nor really exclusive or patented to B&O. The other way around you could say B&O copied everybody else by forgetting the glass on BV8.More interesting is the question how (or even if) Apple solved the problem of dust behind the glass

Imho this is a ridiculous idea. Just imagine driving this car while an accident happens. All this glass, metal and sharp edges. Just the thought of the wall-mounted BL3s just behind my head, the cover of the BS9000 or the Beo4 holder beside my legs makes me get goose bumps...and not because of pure joy. On the other hand you could say, that it suites

For future downloads you could give the amazon download store a try: http://www.amazon.com/b/ref=gw_br_mp3/002-3097415-0026435?%5Fencoding=UTF8&node=163856011&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=left-nav-1&pf_rd_r=0435FMT3GS2KJ6KVHZ74&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=313702901&pf_rd_i=507846. I didn´t try it yet but it´s said to
