  • Re: Beolit Speaker

Hi You need to contact Tim Jarman at beocentral.org This is a very common problem and tim in the past fixed my beolit 600 by reworking the original speaker. Basically, you cant buy identical speakers and i dont think anyone has found a replacement yet either.

  • Re: Polite Question!

Boxed Mint 4500 with mmc2. The insurance alone was £25. To be totally honest, if they'd offered £700 delivered, i would take it. I could understand if they'd said the deck was expensive, but they didnt mention that, just the postage costs.

  • Re: On-Line Pre-Owned B&O Dealers

Hi Vikinguk Having seen your post here, I've just found your question in the messages box on ebay. We tend to monitor the ebay emails, but didnt get one for your question. Not sure why. The bv1 didnt have a motor in it and is now sold. Our phone number is listed on the me page should you like to enquire on any other items in future. Many Thanks

Hi Not sure of your location, but contact neil briffet at beovisions(ebay name) as i know he has a couple for sale here in the uk. I think he's called nobbyhall on beoworld, but i'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong.

  • Re: would this be a good move

£200-250 buys you a beocenter 2500 in the uk. On a good day, it'll get you an Ouverture for that money. However, if second hand b&o is thin on the ground in NZ, then you'll probably have to pay a premium for it.

  • Re: BeoVision 3 - How long is a standard guarantee valid on tv from new?

Standard guarantee is 2 years. They do have periods when 4 year warranties are given, but these are promotions rather than the norm. In the past, they'd rather add value to the sale, rather than drop prices!!

  • Re: Cabinet Price

Mine came from camberley and was £70. It was described as excellent and i struggled to find any marks on it. On the cabinet itself, what you would think is a big door, doesnt actually open. Just the top smaller door opens.

  • Re: stupid avant question

LX and MX tv's are exactly the same. Same tube, same guts. Just different speaker layout and casing. No reason why LX should live longer than an MX.

  • Re: Beoworld Appeal

I bought a couple of mugs soon after they were available and they've managed to survive my mother, so they must be good!!
