  • Re: ML/MCL Converter (Type 1651) als Alternative zum Beolink Passive (Type 1656)

Ich glaube das mit der ML/MCL+IR nur die Volume-Reguliering wirkt, nicht die Balance und Ton-Regulierung... Grusse Joost Declercq Gent (B)

  • Clockupgrade CD 7000

Hello, I'm trying to install a new clock for my CD 7000, with a separate powersupply (Tentlabs XO 2 with XO supply), to reduce the jitter error. The XO supply needs an input of 230V and has a DC output which goes to the new clock. The 230V input needs to come from the player and has to be switched on and off with the player. In this way the clock

Hello, I've read on some sites that muting transistors are degrading the sound of a CD-player. The advise is to remove them. See: http://www.tentlabs.com/Products/cdupgrade/page39/page39.html Does the CD 7000 has muting transistors? Kind regards Joost Declercq Gent (B)

Hello Martin, I replaced C30-34 with bridges, but that was no good (no sound) :-(. After cutting the bridges there was music again :-). Is this the way to go? Why can't I replace with bridges? Joost (debutant, but willing to learn) Gent (B)

Hello Martin, As you know I've also tuned my BM7000, but I've sticked with the original layout (so no bridging of the LINE OUT). I've replaced the IC6 with the BurrBrown Opamp and now I'm wondering about the capacitors around the IC6, i.c. C30/32 and C31/C33. Do they need replacement or can they just be left out and bridged, as you did

  • Re: VX 5000 burned?

Hello Martin, You were right. Two of the capacitors on the capstanmotor are leaking. Also at least 5 other capacitors on the other boards. I'll try to replace them, althought these on the capstanmotor will require a very small solderingiron and a lost of skill.... Just assuming I can fix it, is there a way to reduce the heat in the VX? Kind regards

  • VX 5000 burned?

Hello, I'm trying to revive an old VX 5000. The 'thing' ate my tape, but doesn't want to return it, neither wants to play or FF it. I've read that 'burned' capacitators are common with the VX 5000. Does anybody has a clue where in the VX I can find the most probably guilty capacitors? No service manual on Beoworld and the

  • Re: VX 5500 eject problem

Hello, I have the same problem. Could you be more specific in where to find these capacitors, because the inside of a VX is a mess and there's no Service Manual here on Beoworld. Kind regards Joost Declercq Gent (B)

Martin, Haven't you replaced the capacitors around the TDA 1541 with 1%? What did you use? Kind regards Joost Declercq
