That is exactly what I do, same FM transmitter too... works pretty well. I can have the ipod at hand and change tracks. I use this at the beach mostly. Works like a charm.

I completly agree with you that some of our customers are more than capable of doing this and I do agree there should be also a "consumer version" of the Beo5 sofware. The complexity of the programis as just as complex and detailed as you want the remote to be. As far as the training goes, you mention Beocademy which is not an option with

We havent gotten beo 5 yet in the US stores yet. But as discussed in our traning session we will be charging for elaborate programing of the Beo 5. I have several clients that want very detailed things and it is very time consuming. I know that my knowledge, expertise and time are worth something and should be accounted for. no, buttons like.. guide, page up/down, on demand, etc. same goes for like a bluray player... buttons that are exclusive to that box. So to make it simple you have to have the code on your PUC/STB library and on the Beo5 library.
