  • BS5 purchase options.

Something I picked up on in another thread, there seems to be an option as to how you can buy BS5. Anyone know what these are and cost?

I've had the iPhone for almost 1,5 years now, and the touch screen is this phones strength Same here and as a result I doubt I could go back to a traditional phone but I doubt having a touch screen would have improved the experience, more ruined

People need to remember that B&O are not alone at this time in fact there is probably a very small percentage of companies who will be doing well at the moment. Like a lot of companies, many have gone for profit over product, this has been seen in the car industry. Poor quality and unreliabilty has plagued the big names as profits soar on the back

True but how many parties or events would you host to make this feature worthwhile? Random already achieves this allbeit a little tedious but you can still achieve a similar result, just wasting a little more of your time! I can see the appeal but I am still disappointed that BS5 could have been so much more regardless of the cost/form factor.

  • Re: Beosound 5 poll anyone?

Tough one, me personally I would wait and see what happens to BS5 in a year or two and see what developments or rather improvements are made and how the market changes and how relative BS5 is then. Lab 5s still remain my priority and I would rather save for them over BS5 but having said that.. never say never....

MOTS is just unappealing to me. I am 31 and consider myself to be quite modern when it comes to music etc but find this as a feature totally unappealing and to me all MOTS does it create an intelligent playlist which is more conveniant than anything. As it stands, BS5 could become a very expensive system if this is to be the hub of all future B&O

wonderfulelectric: I thought will the new CEO, B&O will march into the whole high end vision and audio territory. I would imagine that this would have been in advanced stages when the new CEO came in? way too late to step in and make changes..

Personally, I would not be surprised if a mk2 is launched in the near future to cover the "gaps" BS5 clearly has. Dissapointed.......

The link to the video is a huge help understanding BS5, and yes, you can see the "appeal" on the UI. That said... the screen is totally wrong, the size should be in relation to the size of the aluminium circle and should have almost appeared to look part of the circle, not an afterthought. The screen just looks like it has been stuck on the
