i would get the Gefen TV 4:1 hdmi switcher, It looks better can be controlled by b&o works very well and is cheaper than the atlona. Ive have installed loads and works very very well
-
I am an installer and i probably should know but i didnt really install many bsys2;s that was back when i was stuck in the shop I wouldnt believe everything you hear especially re the £500! ive give up on the beosystem 2 now anyway. Gunna get a AV amp with pre outs and just control it with my beo5.
-
have you got your left & right speakers turned up too high in the speaker level menu?
-
i did have a faulty convertor at a customers once which caused pretty much the same issue as you describe. try and borrow a convertor off someone to test.
-
yes it should be fine, you will have to manually turn on the projector or program direct control off the beo5 or use a lintronic box.
-
Hi, i know this has proably been covered many many times before and i have found a bit of info from searching. But has anyone managed to get a beosystem 2 to work with a non b&o panel e.g a non professional panasonic. i have a TH50PZ70 viera all my collegues tell me that the bsys2 will NOT switch on with out a rs232 capable panel connected to it
-
i think but dont quote me on this. if u update the tv sw it might let u use v.mem for control..
-
SW updates are covered by warranty if you are experiencing a SW issue. which it sounds like u are. Louis
-
maybe he just wants to see if it is still under guarantee or if the sw has been updated before..... its easier than asking the customer sometimes
-
in a short answer, no you cannot switch it off. The only way you can get the DTV button usuable again is to remove the module.
