  • Re: Beolink 1000 vs Beo4

This depends on which version of Beolink 1000 you have. I think this is covered elsewhere in this forum, but in order to simplify things - here is my cheat sheet: Beo 4 Beolink1000 MkI & II Beolink 1000 MkIII & IV [red] [SHIFT] [<] [SHIFT] [\/] [blue] [SHIFT] [>] [SHIFT] [/\] [green] [SHIFT] [<<] [SHIFT] [<<] [yellow] [SHIFT

  • Re: CD50 Terminal

Yes, it's the INDEX button. I happen to own one of these rare terminals, but I don't have the CD player to go with it. I would expect the INDEX button to allow direct selection of a CD index number within a track.

  • Re: Master control panel 6500

Hmm, interesting. There must clearly be a difference in software versions here. [quote user="tournedos"]If the software in your Beosystem 2500 was only prepared for 1-way communications, it probably ignores two-way commands completely.[/quote] My Beosystem 2500 is a late two-way system (1994, S/W 1.8) and it works perfectly well with both

  • Re: Master control panel 6500

I'd be surprised if it's possible at all. While the Beocenter 9500 is capable of two-way communication, it is only intended to be controlled by the Beolink 5000 and Beolink 7000 (and all one-way remotes, of course). The MCP6500 uses a different data link address than the BL5000 and BL7000. I've tried to use the MCP6500 with a Beosystem 2500

  • Re: Connecting two pairs of speakers and switching from one to the other

I'm a bit intrigued by your wish to avoid the link-kit (by which I understand you mean the Beolink Active). I have something of the same problem, as I have just acquired a pair of Beolab 1 speakers, which I want to use for a special music listening position in a rather smallish room which already has a pair of Beolab 4000 placed in a bookshelf.

  • Re: Bang Olufsen & Intel teaming up ?

I've noted that there was an N.TV command (hex 0x84) introduced in the Beo5 configuration tool v3.23 (2009-09-08). No smoke without fire...

Antagligen
