ok, I think I finally got it: Program -> chose "Timer Play" -> Chose "Audio System" -> Press "Status" -> Press "Clear" Not quite intuitive, but easy once you get it. I had five timers programmed one on top of the other. Thanks a lot Weebyx, you're a genius Rudi

I have posted a follow on question at the end of this thread, as it seems to raise the same issue: http://forum.beoworld.org/forums/p/19304/357860.aspx#357860

Hi all, I know this is an old thread, but I thought this would be a good place to find an answer. I have tried the different possibilities with the 2300 timer function (Mute on / off), but I have not found any way to turn the timer itself off. I have programmed a timer from 0659 to 0745 and that timer seems to stay active whatever I do. It does not

Hi Ralf you saved my day. Pressing "Mute" on the 2300 was the solution, as outlined in this thread. http://forum.beoworld.org/forums/p/19304/143602.aspx#143602 Thanks a million Rudi

Hi, I have programmed my Beocenter 2300 to wake me up every day of the week with radio in the morning using the Timer Play function on the Beolink 5000. This works fine. But now I would like to turn off the Timer Play and I just cannot find any way to do it. The Beocenter keeps waking me every morning. Am I missing something? Thanks and regards Rudi

@stoobietoo: Thanks, great looking fix. Unfortunately the surface of my base is quite uneven, so I doubt, I will be able to get the foil on so perfectly. @madskp: My base does have a led and I have chargers of both types (with led and without, Mk 1 contacts and Mk2 contacts). When I opened up the charger I saw that the wires to the charging contacts

Hi all, I have 5 Beocom 6000 handsets in our house, a mix of Mk1 and Mk2 and they have all been updated to the current firmware by B&O. They work off a 'pyramid' type base station. The dark grey plastic side of the base station enclosure has been exposed to intensive sun and the surface has been damaged. I would like to take one of the pyramid

Hi Guy1680 Goto - Turn does indeed change the radio band (from FM to AM and back). What I would like to do is different though. The 2300 has a RA/RB key which switches between two station storage banks 'A' and 'B'. So far I have not found any shift combination on the Beolink 5000 that duplicates the funtion of the RA/RB key on the 2300

Hi I am using a Beolink 5000 with a Beosystem 2300. On the 2300 there are two Radio tuner banks, A and B. There is a button on the 2300 to switch between them. Is there any way to switch between Radio A and B from the Beolink 5000? Thanks and Regards Rudi

Hi Guy1680, I got it to work! Added "AV" to the Beo 4, then did "AV" and "DVD" and presto, the screen went blank and the sound of the CD I was playing remained. Another "DVD" brought back the display. Thanks a lot. I would never have found this by myself. Regards Rudi
