Hi Dave, is there any tests I can do with these short of dismantling them and testing each part? My long term plan is to get a beolab 5000, have to start somewhere! Eddie

The 2500s arrieved to day! They are in good condition all over. If you examine them very carefully I can see someone did try and jemmy one of the metal grills of at some point. They are type 6211 serie 04 and came with their original b and o box. The seller found the original receipt and sent it to me. Its dated 20/1/68 from Millwards , Salop st, Wolverhampton

Thats a fair bit of gear to have had. I cannot imagine where to put it all !! That being said I am a mimimalist when it comes to home furnishings.

I was amazed to read just how many units one Beoworlder has in his collection. It all looks very collectable and worth restoring but i am curious not as to how many units members have but what is the average size of these collections ? I did get a beomaster 1200 which needs work but I do have a background (historically)in electronics so it should be
