  • Re: Various error photos of BS5

Hi Jack, I'm trying since month, to use the web and Photo's on a non B&O TV. It doesn't work!!! For me, it is no problem to get the main screen on my Pioneer plasma, but the IR-Sensor on the BM5 still doesn't work. So you can't choose the web and photo menu items on the screen. I'm waiting since I bought the BS5 in January

  • Re: Help in set-up please!

Hi Alex, just one question regarding your connection to the Samsung TV. Are you able to use the Photo and Web options from the BS5 Menu at your television? Unfortunatly with my Pioneer TV it isn't working. I get the menu on the screen, but I can't choose the both menu points (photo and web). Thanks Kai

  • Re: About to purchase Beosound5, just a few questions:

Also with the update of the firmware (I think it was 3 weeks ago??) the IR socket at the BM5 is still NOT activated, so there is NO way at the moment to navigate in the BM5 menue for pictures or web at non B&O TV's...unfortunatly. I'm waiting for this feature since January...

  • Re: Web and Photo

You can connect the BM5 also to a non B&O TV, for this you need a DVI to VGA cable (if your TV has a VGA input). It works also with a component cable, but the quality is not so good. Then you see on the TV the complete Menue (N.Radio, N.Music, Web, Photo). Unfortnatly, this is all you can do at the moment, because you can not control the BM5 with

  • Re: BeoSound 5 - First Impressions

Hi at all, my dealer and me had figured out the problem! It was my power amplifier (10 years old), he could not work with the signal from the BM5 the right way. I have changed the old to a new integrated amplifier where my speakers are connected to, and the sound is now perfect. It takes a times to get the system running as it should, but now I'm

@koning I'm using the BS5 and BM5 without B&O speaker, thereby it is not possible to adjust the sound setting. The result, the sound is cruelly. The sound from my Ipod with MP3 songs is much more better than the sound from the BS5 with copies in lossless quality! I'am absolute unsatisfied with the sound. Kai
