That it only happens with active speakers is important in this situation! Take a look at the back or the underside of your right speaker - I'm 99% (Read 100%) sure that the position switch is set to L (Left). Switch it to R (Right) and the problem should be solved. - Dennis

  • Re: Your latest purchase?

Happy new year! Hmmm... I must admit that I have already bought a "new" Bang & Olufsen product for my collection in 2012. Found a AV7000 US-Version here in Denmark, and that was an opportunity I couldn't miss - The only one I've ever seen for sale in Denmark, is the one I have now! It has stood unused in a garage or so for many
As for the plate on a BL7000, I have never tried polish on that, I'm not sure the chrome touch plate on a BL7000 is the same surface as the Pentas body....?
Hmm... The service manual does only say 'Top plate'... I have always just heard it mentioned as 'the steel plate'... Could someone

@Michael (Bentleyman) We all make mistakes sometimes - It's just good that we have each other to say stop before it is (could be) too late. It is also a benefit having people from so many parts of the world on this site - There is always someone awake and online! AFAIK are the stainless stell panels on the Pentas protected with clearcoat . I have
Hi Ronnie, Just use a little metal polish on them, such as Brasso/Duraglit or even some Autoglym metal polish (intended for car chrome). I've also read about a metal polish on beoworld called 'Autosol cleaner' which I'm sure would be fine too. Regards,
Please DON'T! If you try to polish

  • Re: Blowing out BeoLab 8002

A golden rule is: Play as loud as it sounds good (Is that a sentence? ). If the speakers begin to distort when you turn up the volume, then turn the volume down again - Simply as that. - Dennis
Beomaster 6500 will not give you all options on the Beolink 7000 as it has no two-way functionality?
Huh? Then the two-way MCP6500 wouldn't make any sense! Beolink 7000 was designed for Beosystem 6500. Do you mean, that it (Beomaster 6500) doesn't have RDS?

  • Re: Your latest purchase?

Bought a complete Beosystem 6500 last saturday with MCP6500 and the Beosystem 7000 Stand (Type No. 2060) at a very resonable price. - Beomaster 6500: Works 100% - Beogram CD6500: Works 100% - Beogram 6500: Has a faulty MMC2. This won't be a problem as I have another one lying. - Beocord 6500: Dead. I have another one, so I can always use that for
