BeoCenter 2300 + BeoLab 6000. 1998. Had been married six months, had no audio whatsoever at home. The wife and I stopped at a Sound Advice store thinking perhaps of a Bose or Nakamichi, something small, modern. We weren't thinking of B&O and weren't truly cognizant of the brand. The sales guy showed us a BeoCenter hanging from the wall and
"If the batteries are low, Display 1 will show a "Battery Low" alert in idle mode approximately one week before the batteries run out of power (...)"
Right you are! I had completely forgotten about that, but looking at the manual again, I now remember reading it. All I can say is that if the warning

Battery life Ours has been in service about four months and one week. I installed the three plain AA Energizer alkaline —made in Singapore— batteries that came with BeoTime. Expiration date: 03-2015. Last night I set the alarm and this morning not only the alarm failed, the displays were entirely blank when I woke up about 1 hr beyond my

Update today... Since the dealer never called back and it's been over five weeks since they last called me, I went ahead and called them. 1. Great article. I agree with FakeSteve: the iPad is a product one might not need right away; this is why we haven't bought ours yet. Sort of the way one does not need a BeoVision. We'll get ours, eventually, when we feel we want them.
Why do you need one. What does it do that an Iphone can't.
When Kindle for iPhone came out, I bought and read two books on my iPhone. When Kindle for Macintosh came out, I bought six more books, of which I read 5 1/2 on my Mac and 1/4 on my iPhone. I anticipate I will be reading a whole lot more books on the

Hit the small «i» at the bottom right of the iPhone screen.
There's been mention of a demo option for this app. In order to 'play' with this app in demo mode, is it necessary to have a MLGW? I downloaded the app and when launched I see 'Bang & Olufsen' displayed on my Touch screen and

No necessity whatsoever. Extra convenience only.
I see a very limited use of an iPod/Phone dock. Basically you have all your music on your PC/MAC/BS5... so why add a dock? A dock is only useful if your digital music is not connected to your audio system. So.. I hope that B&O is not wasting any time on a dock... and that they're spending their time
