  • These fabulous infuriating TVs....my MX7000 and the AV9000

    Boy oh Boy....do these TVs hate the digi world.....grab the old Thompson from the back room ....pop in a digibox and hey presto away it goes... Do the same with these beasties...no way!......pop it in AV2 go to setup...configure AV2...yep all done Power up the box....TV recognises it for a second, attempt to bring up the freeview menu....no thanks!

    Neil.......I have the AV9000 in its two parts and with a colleague and van can drop it over to you should you still be happy to have a look at it for me....... We have some jobs to do over in Friars Court Heath End so that would be a good time to call in..............next week i guess can you give me a mobile no........ kind regards John

    Hello again As you may know I'm over in Tadworth in Surrey....so a bit of a trek My local repairer is saying the fault is perhaps an indication of a protection circuit control activating to prevent component damage......and there can be a number of these. so, somewhat of a challenge John

    The TV has stopped working in that it appears to be on standby but when the remote selects TV the sensor blips green for a fraction of a second and reverts to red. Just happened.......Any ideas please. Whilst thinking of this point, can I raise another matter, wholly unrelated. Somewhile back the video has taken in a tape, correctly so far as I can
