Seems the BeoGram 3500 & 4500 fits best in design to the BeoSystem 2300. Which plug at the BS2300 should the turntable be connected to Best regards Nis

One of my friends asked me, if he can connect a record player to his BeoSystem 2300. I guess, that the BS2300 do not have a dedicated turntable connection and therefore to be able to connect a turntable, need a player with a RIAA amplifier either build-in or externally. Which player should he go for? Are there any turntables that work with the remote

Hi, I have just picked up a pair of Beovox 5000 Mk I, Type 6206 in quite good conditions. Practically no scratches, only e few spots, probably from water. Would be no problem restoring the veneer. But I have a few questions: The speaker cables has been cut; they are only around 2 meters long and as normal they look very "smokey" / dirty. And

Thanks Brian and Martin, So I don't need to speculate about renovating the middletone speker, nice to know. Next step will be renovating the crossover with new capacitors. // Nis

Hi, I'm currently replacing the foam on my RL140's woofers. The first two are finish and works well, no center problem. Now I'm wondering, if the midtone ITT speaker has to be done. Why I'm asking, is that I can't get the speaker out of the cab. I have opened the seperate midtone cab and removed the four screws from the speaker,

Hi, Have you ewer tried to connect a thick speaker cable to a DIN plug? It is not an easy task. Monaco have some speaker plugs, that accommodate Ø 3 mm / 4 mm 2 cables. As the plug use screws, you don’t need to solder the cable. Product name is CP-20. Have a look: http://www.monacor.de/typo3/index.php?id=84&L=1&artid=3028&spr

Hi, I have just got hands on a pair of old Beovox speakers. Unfortunately they came with no speaker plug attached to the cable. The speakers have to be connected to a Beomaster 4000. I remember from my younger days I were connecting a 1.5 Volt battery to the cable, and if the speaker were moving forward, I should connect the wire from the plus-pole
