My installer just figured out the option menu on the remote and fixed the problem. Thanks for your responses.

The 9000 is not hooked up to a TV. It is possible it may have been in the past.

When trying to adjust the volume the display reads "TV Control" and the volume stays the same. I don't have a user manual. How do I adjust this?
