Does anyone know of a repair shop in the US that is capable of repairing the model 8000 turntable? I've tried 2 shops and neither could fix it. Also, if someone could advise me on how to get the capacitor kit, that would be much appreciated too. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for the tip. I have 2 of these tables and the plastic tacho discs are OK in each. I'd like to get at least one of them working.

I was recently told my 8000 turntable needs a new cpu but they haven't been made for years. Does anyone out there have any suggestions, other than tossing it?
