i've finally gotten around to doing this ... just after a little hand holding to make sure I do it right. Here are some pictures of mine as it is as a 110v ... I'd love to see someone's 240v version before I start cutting and resoldering.

Is there a simple way to change the voltage of my beogram 5000 (picked up cheap on ebay) to 240v or am I best just to use an external transformer?. Also, will there be any issues using 50hz not 60hz?

Hi, I'm new to Beoworld, maybe someone can help me out? I just picked up a Beosystem 5000 on ebay but the CD 50 wont play the first part of track 1!! It usually starts at about 1:35 of track 1 no matter what CD I play. Any ideas about what I might do to fix it? Here's a picture ... Cheers Jeremy
