I need a few hints on where to look for the following fault on a Beocord 5000. If I insert a tape it plays for about 2 seconds then stops. The same happens if you try and rewind. If you hold the solenoid in by hand the tape will play with no problems. I suspect that there is a fault in the control circuit to the solenoid but I am not sure of where to

Both pairs of speakers Beovox C30 and S55 suffered from the dreaded foam rot. I have replaced the foam with a product from a company called good_hifi ( Netherlands) on Ebay and all seems to work OK.
