  • Re: ipod connectivity, help needed..

Steve I have the same problem as you. I have been told by B&O and by Lifestyle A/V that there is no way around it, other than upgrading your 2300 to a product with built in masterlink. I'd be interested to know if there is another solution... Jason

  • Re: cabinet question

WOW - the one question I could have helped with and Ash beats me to it!! I would add that I ordered mine, in fact the same as Ash's over two weeks ago and I still haven't got it. My dealer told me - after I called - that the door is the problem. Perhaps another 7-10 days? JB

  • Re: Link problems

Do you mean you can get analogue TV on the MX OK but just not the digital TV signal? Have you checked the link frequency between the 32" and the MX is OK? Would the link frequency need to be set the same as the master? Have you tried with the 32" on and off?.... JB

  • Re: Soundproof's Guide for using iPhone or iPod Touch as a remote!

Ah - good point. I had read all about the DVI interface last week but had conveniently forgotten about it!! Thanks for pointing that out. I now remember earlier in the thread about using the headphone plug on the mac with a simple lead or to take it further/better with using another piece of kit in the line - I'll try the headphone first... Thanks

Hi Stefan Thanks for your reply. I've looked at the apple store and have seen the adapter taking the DVI to composite, which I suppose I can plug into a scart plug with appropriate plugs. I'm not sure if this will allow both music & video to be distributed but I'll take the plunge and see! Cheers JB

Hi Soundproof Great set of emails detailing how we can use an iphone & touch with our b&o gear - it must have taken you ages to write! I have a bit of a problem that you might be able to help with - please? - The A.Aux socket on the back of my 2300 is already in use - it goes to a beolink converter to patch it into the masterlink - is there

  • Re: Power Link Connections - New & Old

Thanks to you both. Sorry for not replying sooner but I've been a bit manic. I have however used your information and have successfully connected my speakers and other cables. Those pesky power link wires are so thin, they're a pain to work with! Thanks again. Jason

  • Power Link Connections - New & Old

Hi all, I'm hoping someone can help please. We moved into a new house a while back so I have wired in for our B&O kit, but now that I've come to make the connections I'm a little stumped! I've laid in new power link cable with 4 wires plus 2 shields - Yellow, Blue, Brown & shield, Green & shield. I would like to solder these

  • Re: Would Beoworlders enjoy hearing live music through Beolab 5 / 9's??

KingStreet: Jandyt: Sounds like a photo' opportunity looms. Happy Easter everybody! Andy T. Andy - there may be issues there. I'm pleased to say that the performer involved has a "proper"manager, a record label, a website etc etc - he is a full time, professional troubadour, and so it may not be legally acceptable to snap away without

I can't see it being a problem to take some shots. Is Andy T going to sell them for commercial use? If not, a polite request to let them know they're for his own use and to document the evening to other B&O users wouldn't go amiss unless they want to get arsey about it? I'm sure there'll be plenty of others taking shots on crappy
