Thought so. Can't really say much about the preamp though, it's a cheapo one from http://www.vekoy.com/product_info.php?cPath=352_354&products_id=8603 (Finnish site). It doesn't say anything about the producer, don't know if the pic helps. Awesome help though, looking forward to listening to some vinyl.

Thanks for your answer, just what I was hoping to hear. About the preamp though, I've found one which has 5-pin DIN INPUT (rca too) so shouldn't it work just fine with that, without the need to buy an adapter?

Hi, I'd just like to have someone confirm that the beogram 3300 hasn't got a built-in preamplifier as I've understood it? I'd just like to know as I would need to connect it to a Onkyo receiver which doesn't have a phono input, and but i don't want to buy a preamp if I don't need one. Also, if the preamp which I'll buy
