When you mention this, I remember now that my parents bought a Loewe stereo in the beginning of the seventies. It looked like nothing else and was very cool for that time.
Well, I was talking about the Loewe Legro series, which is from the late 90ties, early 2thousands I think. But I think Loewe (or Loewe Opta
Agree with 10% about the DVB-S - in the UK the only real choice in satellite is Sky which cannot be built in and if you have Sky, you might as well have Sky+ which gives you seamless recording with the B&O remote including link rooms
Not true. There is something like freeSat - and some other manufactures do
And Simon, who knows!? I'd be happy if I did. VW should outsell Mercedes in parity volume, but I'm not sure. I know that Loewe is primarily a television maker whose other innovations seem to serve the video segment. I don't think anyone would by a Loewe audio system (or if such a thing really exists) and

Hm, could be an unstable power supply. But I am not so sure about the capacitors. The beomaster worked fine in Germany. We just got the problems after moving over to the UK. In fact, it never worked here correctly. Maybe just bad contacts, poor joints etc... I don't know and I really don't want to check it (not enough time). I was thinking more

For quite some time my old Beomaster 5500 has some problems which seem to look strange. All of a sudden it won't react on any commands (neither via remote nor via the front) but keeps playing. Sometimes it just switches itself off for about 2 seconds and switches itself on immediatley start playing what it played before. Once it just woke up from

Hi Lee, thanks for your answer. I almost thought that these are just connection problems. Seems that there are a lot of cables and connectors inside. I just opened it beomaster - but as it seems to be very packed i didn't really want to unscrew and dismount anything. Do you think it's worth just dis- and reconnect all connectors? Well, maybe

Hi, I have a problem with my beomaster 5500. It worked well until I relocated to London. In general the receiver works, but from time to time it doesn't react anymore. Neither when I use the front controls nor when I use the remote (tried both, the BEO4 and the MCP). The MCP gives me a "no contact" message. Until now this just happens

Danke euch allen.
