I have a beosystem 5500 and when I plug in my headphones in the amp the sound is heard through both the headphones and the s55 speakers. Can I set it up so I only hear it through the headphones.Thanks and appreciated.

Sydney Australia. Ive read up on the soundsmith products but have no idea what to purchase.Do you think the mmc4 is the best replacement? Ive also noticed that when I recess the middle black plastic circle it is still about .5mm above the platter.Ive checked the screws underneath and their fully backed off.Is this normal? Sounds pretty crap. I thought it might of been due to the tracking.Apparently it sounded mint when I purchased it.

Hi there I just bought a beogram 5500 .It starts playing then starts skating across. Ive set the balance as per mmc4 at 1.2. The stylus/cartridge arrived with the stylus angled to one side so I pushed it back to center. Any advice would be great thanks.
