No worries Jeff. My tech in Ottawa has done three separate jobs on my bang product perfectly. if anyone need a tech in Ottawa please PM me . I was In B.C an V.C island this summer. My sympathies on you tech people , they seem like surfers . thanks again cheers dave

Its o.k bro, your not alone. My first video game was a Sears pong game, Then soon followed commodor vic-20 with asteriods. All I do to keep up with current technology, keep buying the new stuff. I will get a PS3 for Christmas, Play WW2 war games on my high tech 52" hd T.V listening to an L.P on my vintage Bang Beogram and Beomaster. Remember video

Thanks for the speedy reply. You guys are dead right. My electronic skills are quite limited. All I did was raised and lower the tone arm with the the control panel several times . Its 98% better. I do detect a hum from the unit at higher volume levels. Unfortunately we don't have a Bang dealer in Ottawa anymore, but we do have a few ex bang techs

I finally hooked up my 4004 after moving a few years ago. the problem I'm having is that tone arm doesn't pick at the end of LP when it should. The needle stays down and the arm go back to the start. It drags the needle for about 1cm before it picks up. Is this a simple adjustment? cheers
