Hi everyone, I have a Beocenter 9000 from 1986 (Type 2501, NS 04712987). Just took it to my B & O service man and he revised the whole thing, doors sliding perfectly, cassette and radio excellent, but he said te CD laser is finished and he has no more. I would love to buy either a new laser or a complete CD unit from anyone, anywhere. I love my

My Beocenter 9000 which I love dearly has started to be a bit intermittent in whether the CD will actually play or not. As well the door to the CD seems very stiff and doesn't move easily. Hi Neil, Set has been working fine for the 3 years I have had it. Only thing I have noticed is that sometimes the sliding curtain on startup and stopping was occasionally a bit slower, but it always worked. Only thing I can think of is that if something is not actually faulty I may have wired it up incorrectly after a recent move. Best regards, anodyne1
