I agree remote buddy is great, but its MAC only I think The solution I suggested works on both MAC and Windows PC's

Guys I have now in my mind the perfect solution This software runs on a ipod touch (or iphone) www.alloysoft.com and allows remote control over a wirless network of Winamp, Windows Media Player or Itunes I then used this bit of kit http://www.devolo.co.uk/uk_EN/produkte/dLAN/dlanaudioextsk.html to stream the mp3 stored on my my pc to the BS9000 in my

The best decription of how to conenct can be found here http://www.firebox.com/index.html?dir=firebox&action=product&pid=1185 Basically the device plugs into the USB port on the PC. Then the Beoline Base plugs into the device and a cable goes from there to the phone line This is also the cheapest site I can find Its a skype only solution I believe

Love the idea of VOIP but not the awful handsets or sitting at my pc to contol things Just linked up one of these to my Beocom PSTN (older style with 3 Beocom 2 and 3 Beocom 6000 attached) http://www.voipvoice.com/UConnect-2.html Now I can make and receive normal PSTN calls as well as Skype calls from any Beocom handset, and the skype is voice activated

I'm sure I have entered numbers from other handsets and they are available to all hansets registered to the base. Or are you implying that its possible to register a handets with more than one base. I may

Hi Keith thanks for the reply Sorry my post was a little vague I have both 6000's and 2's the 6000 are MKII already so they are sorted it s the 2's that are MKI. Is the Software update something thats a quick job or do the phones need to be sent away ? As for two PSTN bases, I assume that they CAN'T be linked together i.e share one phonebook

Is it possible to upgrade the Beocom MKI (via sw?) so I can use the new style Beoline PTSN which allows 8 handset to be connected ? I have reached the 6 handset limit imposed on the old style Beoline
