  • Re: Beocom 2500, Make it Louder?

Bingo, the problem re "intermittent failure for the dialled number" has been fixed with new batteries! But sadly, the first point about volume is still unanswered. Any ideas please? D.

Bump! Also, now there is an intermittent failure for the dialled number to actually call the number I want whether from memory, redial or hand dialled. Hand dialling very slowly, (one a second) seems to help a bit. Has anyone come across this, please? There is a little click after the dial beep every press of a number. Is this normal? D.

  • Beocom 2500, Make it Louder?

Hi fellow enthusiasts. I am recently the proud owner of the above phone purchased through ebay. Everything works fine, BUT. The ringer is loud enough but the hands free volume and the volume through the earpiece in the hand set is really too quiet even at full volume. It would be unusable in a busy office. Is there a trick or mod to make it louder

Hi John Its been some time now but here is the latest. Everything is good! Tim Jarman knows his stuff and duly repaired and serviced the deck at a reasonable cost. I thouroughly recommend him. Unfortuanatly, the MCC4000 had packed up on one channel so I bought a new one from Soundsmith in the U.S. This deck has now relativley cost me a small fortune

Hi John, I can't believe someone has taken the trouble to answer my query so quickly. Golly-gosh and thank you very much. I will contact Tim soon as I can and keep you posted how I get on. Many thank again. David

I have a beogram 4000 too in need of repair. Can anyone tell me who could fix it for me in the UK? Thanx.
