Finally got this working at the weekend by restoring the factory defaults on the TomTom and setting it all up again. I must have got something wrong the first time round but I've no idea what. Yes, my sole intention is to watch films. My thoughts are to use the iMac to set up the Mac mini remotely (and to copy films etc on an ongoing basis). After reading other threads, I'm planning to use an iPod Touch as the remote so I wouldn't even need to use the Avant as a monitor when selecting a film. Michael

jandyt: All Serenes come with the little slidey bit, but as it is usually open when you get it, most of us didn't know it was there! Van, I suspect that the green scale is actually the progress bar at the bottom of the Internet Explorer window. Presumably archie is timing out trying to connect to the payment page. Is this a third-party website? Might be worth checking with them. Michael
