Thanks, I'll pick up some lube during the week and give it a try. It's been in my in-law's attic for about 10 years, so that could be it.

I recetly aquired a B & G system with a Beogram 4004. When I press start, the arm moves into position, but will not drop. I can push it down with my finger, but it pops back up. I don't have a user's manual, so it may be something silly that I'm doing. Any suggestions please? Pat.
