Well, thanks for this, it works a treat! A couple of things I found: 1. You need to be careful about choosing your instrument to put in the hole with the arrow (and yes, it has an arrow). A screwdriver doesn't work, but a small allen key does. I also found there are instructions printed on the base of the unit telling you how to take it apart. 2

Has anyone had this problem? Or better still, fixed it? The front panel on my 4500 amp/tuner has become detached from the unit. It was attached with some sort of rubberised gasket, not glue, and I'm wondering how to reattach it. Any advice welcome.
