Hi. I Kind of suspected as much, so I persevered and lo and behold I've sorted it. It's two presses on SHIFT + TV. Works perfectly. Fantastic. Thank you all for your help. Ben

Hi again guys. No Beo4, unfortunately. Just the Beolink 1000. So the SHIFT +TV would be the answer here... except the shift button seems to be kaput (I presume it should emit an IR signal when pressed, like all the other buttons. Mine doesn't, for some reason). So that seems to be the problem. Looks like I need a new remote... Thanks again for your

Many thanks guys. I can't make it work though. According to the manual, to activate the aux 1 without a TV picture (which is what I want to do ideally) I just switch on the TV with the Aux button (i.e. SHIFT + TV). When I try that all that happens is the TV comes on as normal. Any advice? Ben p.s. Thanks Lloydern. It looks like the SHIFT button

I want to play my iPod through my LX2800 TV, for which I have a cable from Sounds Heavenly. However, I can't figure out how to activate the Aux 1 socket because I have the wrong remote for this TV - it should be a Video Terminal ( not the mars bar one, the other one) and I have a Beolink 1000.
