No worries, anyway, the problem was with the PS3. It was set up to use HDMI, which obviously didn't work with my tv. Thanks for your time anywow :-)

Thanks for the answer, but unfortunately it doesn't seem to work. If I press shift+text i get text tv. Is there a way to reset the tv?

I'm the owner of an old Beovision LX2502. It's a nice television - the only problem is that I don't know how to use the scart socket. I've got a standard Beolink 1000 remote control. What I'd like to do is connect a PS3 via the scart socket. But how do I make it show up on the screen? Thank you :-)
