  • Re: What is best for my Beovision 1

Thanks for replies, very much appreciated. IF I sell, I shall separate the Beo4, but at the moment when I see the BV1 I loose the heart to sell it!

  • What is best for my Beovision 1

I just need some guidance before I enter the sad process of selling my much loved Beovision 1. It is an LS type 8653 finished in green. I bought it in 2003 just after B&O stopped production of the colours and my dealer managed to track down a green one in the factory. Keith, Many thanks for the information. My wife has asked if you have an idea of the potential cost as we have now sat down with a cup of tea to brace ourselves. Of course I shall contact my dealer but the way forward would give us something to talk about this evening! Best wishes, Reg.

Many thanks to Keith, Dave and Graham for you support. I have just checked the response of the standby light and it does not go out or show any indication of a signal being received. As an insurance, I have set V Opt to 1 and when I do the Beo4 shows TV. Again, no response from the BV1. Sorry for consuming your time on this one. I was hoping it was

Hi, thanks for the support guys. I've checked the remote through a camera and its functioning. Don't worry, at this stage, nothing will insult my intelligence! Yes, it shows TV. The annoying thing is, the BV1 responded when I first switched it on but just froze when I was too quick (I think) with the Beo4. Any more thoughts? Regards, Reg.

Hi, many thanks for quick reply. Oops, I powered off for more than 15 minutes, in fact I left the power off all day! I powered up then after some time switched on from the BV1 front switch and left for some time before trying the remote again, with no joy. I didn't know about the PIN and I am sure I don't have one. So how do I check the Beo4

  • Beovision 1 not responding to Beo 4

HI, I h ope a more technical person than me can help and as this is my first post be easy on me! I have just returned from holiday during which time my BV1 was switched off at the front panel. I switched it on but probably too quickly changed the sound volume control and/or programme and the BV1 froze then wouldn’t respond to the Beo4. I turned
