yeh that was it, it seems it counts down the time 3 hours from when turned on, not from when the code was put in incorrectly . and subsequently turned off at teh mains ( thanks bro-in-law) cheers

Hi , Happy new year ! I just returned from hols, ( inlaws house sitting) before i went away, i turned off the system at the mains, (never had an issue with this before) When i came back i turned on as usual, waited for the pin code screen, and am instead greeted with the message "wait" this flashes up for a couple of seconds and goes off again
