    The BS3 has a DB9 male connector, the Panasonic a DB9 female (i.e. the cable is a male-female one). BUT - I'm having no luck getting the BS3 to control the Panasonic - either by RS232 or IR. For RS232 control, past advice was to turn off Panel Autodetect in the Customer Service Menu then tell the BS3 it has a B&O panel. The autodetect option

  • Beosystem 3 s/w 4.24a: No autodetect option in the Customer Service Menu?

    Hi, I want to get my Panasonic panel working with my BS3. Currently it ignores the RS232 it seems. General wisdom says to turn off Panel Autodetect in Customer Service Menu. I would - but the option is no longer in there. Any ideas??
