On the Beolink Passive, the Powerlink is INPUT only....so.... as far as home integration...this would be for something like in another room....you'd lik to add an external CD player to that imput when you did not want to hear the main system music???? Can you choose imputs from the eye or just the remote?? THanks.k

Okay...so i've got a converter (1166 i think euro version) and i know it'll talk back and forth between the ML and the Datalink... Can anyone tell me what the Powerlink connection on this box is for????????? 1) IN ONLY (like the passive) or is it both ways??? 2) IF...both ways..is it attenuated?? 3) AND, the bigger question....what would be

Called them today...they have some Beolab 3's.......no home integration stuff....The owner "Tom" said they were basically sold out.

How many speakers can you drive off the Beolink passive?? I know it's rigged for 1 pair...is the amp stable to drive say 2 pairs?? Thanks, k

All these powered speakers and equipment beg the question on surge protection. I've looked at protected sockets, and external (ugly) protectors behind the speakers... im thinking of a whole house system like this http://www.smarthome.com/4861.html Does anyone have any experience with something like this?? Would this give sufficient protection??

I know Christian said 4 pairs of speakers....is the passive amp stable enough to do this??? That's what i'd like to do...i'm looking to fit some passive kits and run say 2 sets of speakers of each amp....will it support 4 X 8 ohm speakers??? THanks, k
