Hey Stuart, Welcome to B&O and Beoworld! I know this sounds silly, but have the speakers been set properly? Is one set to left and one set to right? The sound you describe, is it distorted? maybe the cables need replacing? The Beolab 4000s are a great speaker...

I actually don't have a problem with Lee mentioning his business in threads. After all, he is a paying sponsor of the site.
