Hi, I've just secured a nice MX4000 for a good price, but its got no remote. From what I understand, a Beolink 1000 is the best choice for value (or a v / av terminal). Is there any particular version I should look out for to be able to fully control this set? Also, on a side note, do the speakers in the MX4000 suffer from foam rot? Thanks!

Well I took the plunge.... I should have my 'new' pentas by Friday. I don't think the price was too bad, it seems to be about what they sell for on ebay + they are being delivered to me! I would probably just change the foam surrounds. I've done several before (CX100, CX50, M75 + several none B&O speakers), so i'm not put off by that. I can get all 8 surrounds for about £40. Hi Martin Thanks for your words of encouragement. I got my old 'scope out of storage and found that the signal was getting lost on the Dolby PCB, underneath the main PCB.
