    Beocenter 6-26 and Beoport

    Hi,

    I am the owner of a brand new Beocenter 6-26. I have been told/read that this should be able to act as a Link Master with my Beoport.
    My TV is in my mainroom and the Beoport is in my study. The Beocenter is without any radio modules.

    I have tried to put the Beoport in option 6 and set V.OPT and A.OPT to 2 on the Beocenter.
    To me it seems like the Beocenter cannot act as Audio Link Master as I don't get a confirmation flash when setting A.OPT

    Can someone please explain?

    BeoPort requires an audio master if it is to work on a link system that has a video master in it.  The BeoCenter 6 is a video product so cannot be set to an A.OPT option, sadly what you have been told is incorrect.
