Design soundsystem. But not from Denmark.

What about this? And from the same company this. I have no idea if they are any good but I’d like to find out what you think of the design. I saw them just a few seconds ago and I haven’t made up my mind yet. Just like to know what fellow-beoworlders think.  Hmm

Thanks for sharing! I love avante-garde designs, but (and I tend to think I get my eye for design from my father, who is a graphic artist, and has impeccable taste), he would look at those and say: "Design for the sake of design is pointless." B & O, as well as other companies, a la obviously, Apple, tend to focus on design as a part of the functional unit.

Since I can't read japanese, I can't say whether the two products you linked to are related to their designs in any way, maybe they are, but they seem designed to call attention to themselves, rather than blend into their surroundings.

In any case, I enjoyed taking a peek.

Love B&O, but no longer addicted.

Love the 13010 where the CD hangs down! Very innovative!

I agree. Design for the sake of design, interesting, but typical Japanese concept design and very kooky. This could be a sneak peak into the future of "teenager's bedroom" sound systems.
