Hi...I'm wanting to run an equalizer (passive ie, tape in / out) with my BC 9500....How do I do it...???

What adapter plugs do I need with a RCA input and RCA output Passive EQ only..(Pioneer SG-9500).....

    Thanks,

    Re: BC9500 outboard equalizer

Hi!Your BC 9500 has a special line-in-out socket, wich is covered with a shortcircuit-cap (when not used), Only pull that off and plug in a DIN-RCA-adapter and you have the in's and out's ! (DIN pin 1 is out right, 4 is out left, 3 is in right and 5 in left). Cheers Chris Btw: this signal is volume contolled!

Unless I have misread the circuit diagram, this output is NOT volume controlled. Perhaps Keith will check.

So I need a DIN with 2 ins and 2 outs...and then just hook up like an "adaptor" ??? Do I need to make any remote changes or will this equalize the whole signal before the internal amp and the powerlink outs??

Hi!You are right, my fault. It's located between inputcontrol and tone/volumecontrol, sorry. Hadn't put my glasses on.
