    BeoCuriosity?

I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me, but in the following picture on the PHOTOS section:

    Here

(I couldn't get the direct link to the ".aspx" image page to the photos section, so I uploaded it to my webspace; by the way PLEASE get full Safari compatibility with these forums please! :-))

Notice the odd Beolab 4500s: the speaker sections above the AMP sections of the speakers were placed backwards... The squares were originally inline with the stainless steel sections.

It looks cool, this way though, more like a Piet Mondrian than the original configuration.

Can anyone comment? Howabout it Bulgarien? Can you share the secret of the speakers?

I also saw this before in the photo section (on another photo) and made a similar comment.

To be honest I like the original configuration better than this 'swapper amplifier' version.

THe original is still one of the most beautiful speakers ever made!

The speakers do just unbolt from the amplifiers and connect with two wires at the back so I suppose it is easy enough to do.
