    Beolab 4 PC

    Hi,

I have Beolab 4 PC connected to my iBook, and now I'm thinking about buying a Beosound 4.
Is it possible to connect them to a powerlink socket via a plug converter (powerlink-stereo jack), or is it necessary to buy new Beolabs?
Will the "auto standby mode" be working in such a configuration?

    Thanks for your help.

Regarding the auto-standby-mode; if the LINE-IN-MODE switch is set to ON,

the Lab4 will remain switched on.

But you can connect the Lab4 and set the switch to AUTO when you connect them to your audio-system.(mini-jack-mono)

It may take a few minutes before the Lab4 will go into standby.

They'll be fine. Only thing you'll be missing is the position switches, telling the speaker where it's positioned to improve bass performance.
