    Beocente 9000 vs 9500

I am trying to identify the differences in specs between the Beocenter 9000 and the Beocenter 9500...

From what I know the 9500 is 2 way and has Powerlink.

I would also like to know if the 9500 would work better when connected to a Masterlink setup using a Beolink converter...

They will both work though the software in the 9500 will be more modern and could be an advantage. The Beocenter 9000 stopped production in 1988 so is getting pretty old these days. There are problems with the laser assemblies in both models  and parts are unobtainable so getting one is always a bit of a risk. I would certainly make sure that any one you buy is working properly. There are people who can repair some of the laser faults but if you are unlucky and the assembly is not repairable, it is essentially worthless.

If you are using it in a Masterlink setup I would say go for the 9500. You cannot set any options on a 9000 as far as I know. When I had mine I never could.
