    Some pictures then:

    The transport boxes

The inner boxes, one for remote, one for charger.

    What's inside?

    And finally

To bad you don't get the config program right away. My dealer told me that they dont know how the will handle the config question.
There was not even a manual in the box, I think that this is given together with a user specific manual/dictionary after configuration.

But still, I'm already loving it!

    /Ola

    Looks great!
I'm thinking of it as a christmas present for myself... but I don't know if I really need it, only to control a BV7...

In fact the charger cable is a USB cable but its a female connector that you connect to the power outlet connector.
So if you have a "mini-USB to USB" it would be possible to connect it. But still no software.

If I got the gold for the remote, who will get the gold for the software? Stick out tongue

    Debatable! Cool

Is yours not set up for you yet? It must be a bit limited at present - but still wonderful to have! I imagine one has to sit down with your dealer and plan the remote set up as you program it. From what I have seen, the system is a little idiosyncratic as it doesn't like some combinations.  Not sure what it is going to make of my house!! I seem to need three zones in my study!

Re: Today I got my Beo 5!

My dealer spoke to me today and told me I could collect tomorrow!
I can't wait, but am a bit concerned that I may be disappointed as, having read a few posts on here, it would seem I will not be able to control my Kikinoko DVD/hard disk recorder without buying a second STB/PUC. I already have one in the Avant which controls my Sky+ box.
Peter, If you are getting yours from where I think, can I be of any assistance to you tomorrow?

    Hi Marcus.
No, I ended up getting a new hard drive and "new" Windows. Finances a bit tight yet!

    Hi Andy,
I see, new windows ... that's what I used to do the last years too.
The drawback of a mac is the price :-( but I promise you, one day you will switch ;-))

When you write the message, look for the tab marked options. You can add a picture there.

There should be a very brief folder shipped with the remote - the full manual is only meant for the dealers, but they have been asked to provide it as a pdf-file (either in print, on a cd-rom or by email) to customers that ask for it.
