In my bedroom I have an MCL2 connected to my BM5500 driving a pair of CX50s (plus Cona).  I also have an MX 4000.  If I switch on the TV using the BEO4 I can change channel using the centre button (up and down facillity) but if I try to use the numbers to change channel then the BM radio comes on (TV channel changes as well!) to the appropriate preset number.  At some stage soon I will replace the BM5500 with a BM7000 - but unless someone knows if that woudl cure this problem I expect that I will have the same difficulty.  Does anyone have any ideas please of how to change channel on the TV without switching on the radio?

I believe you need to use the special option setting! Option 5 allows you to set the TV to receive only video commands and the audio to accept only audio commands.The alternative is to set the MCL to option 4 where you will have to press LINK before the commands to work it.
