B&O surround system - how to?

Ok, I was wondering how you would set up a B&O Dolby surround system?

It been quite a while since I bought any hi fi so its a re-learning curve. Creating a surround system from scratch is easy with non-B&O components.

Can I run it from say my tv ( a Beovision 8 ) and connect the speakers to the tv and let the tv handle all the 5.1 channel decoding, or do I need to run it from something else ( similar to a normal AV amp )?

Still learning about what does what in the B&O world....thoughts appreciated.

Is your BeoVision 8 a 40"? Which has a surround module so you just plug the B&O speakers in and it works, or a 32". which doesn't have a surround module?

    Its a 32 unfortunately.

Do I need to buy a surround module for it then?

There is unfortunately no surround module for BV8-32. Thus you need an external AV processor.

    BeoVision 8-40 / BeoVision 8-32 / Beovision 6-26 / BeoSound 3200 / BeoSound 1 / BeoLab 3 /  Beolab 6000 / Beolab 2000 / Beoport / Beomedia 1 / 3* Beo4 /BeoCom 5 with VOIP
