    Beogram 7000 stylus damage

I have a B&O 7000 series Record deck which, following a move, is giving a distorted sound. I believe the MMC2 stylus may be damaged, but so far have located only a US supplier for a moving iron replacement.

Is it possible to obtain a  replacement cartridge ?

Failing that, is there a repairer of such items  ?

or is a replacement deck available and if so at what cost ?

I would appreciate any assistance  can be given on this subject

The MMCx series are known to have suspension failure due to age. I would recommend to get it retipped at Axel Schürholz in Germany. It's cheaper than buying a new one at Sound Smith. Axel has done 6 MMC cartridges for me, and they are all done in very good quality. He opens the cartrigde, replaces the suspension (rubber) and puts on the needle of your choise.
