I Have a friend who has an beogram cd player model 3300. The player will not read cd and it only spits it out. Is there anyone who has expirienced the same and could it be easily fixed. Suggestions please.

This model uses the CDM2 laser assembly which is not as reliable as some. It is always worth cleaning the lens and sometimes the control circuits need servicing but often a new laser assembly is recommended. I would get someone knowledgeable to look at it first. Where are you based?
